Australian media sellers can look forward to a 3.5% increase in domestic ad spend in 2012, according to international media service Warc.
The latest International Advertising Forecast monitors 12 key global markets and anticipates that Russia, China and India will see double digit growth this year. In contrast France, Germany and Italy are expected to see 1% or less, reflecting the ongoing economic stagnation in continental Europe. The US presidential elections and UK Olympic Games will be a fillip to those markets, with forecasts of over 4%.
