Tony Prentice will assume the role of chief commercial officer of the newly-formed News Australia - Sales, with effect from March.
The new division will be an amalgamation of News Limited’s national metro masthead sales team, Newsnet, News Inserted Magazines’ sales team and News Digital Media’s sales team who will co-locate into a single office in the coming weeks.
News Limited's director of sales Tony Kendall claimed the fully integrated national sales service would offer seamless solutions across the Group’s newspapers, newspaper magazines and digital products.
'This will mean a better outcome for our national clients and customers, who will be offered audience-led solutions across print, online, tablet and mobile and will have a single point of contact to reach the depth and breadth of our mass audience.'

Sandra Hook, only recently in the headlines for overseeing the rebranding of News Ltd to NewsLifeMedia abruptly left the organisation a week ago, 'to seek new challenges', according to the announcement by CEO Kim Williams. NLM has yet to announce a successor.
