Regular events to inform and inspire

The magazine and online publishing community is growing and evolving at an unprecedented pace. Publishers Australia acknowledges that it is vital for publishers, supplier members and advertisers (clients, marketers and planners), to come together to celebrate the latest developments and learn from each others’ experience.

Publishers Australia organises an active calendar of events including, Leadership Breakfasts, Effectiveness Showcase Lunches, Insight Networking Nights (Tuesday Drinks Club), webinars, seminars, and the annual Publishers Australia Excellence Awards - all focused on showcasing the industry and enabling our members to keep moving forward in business.

Our calendar is developed for an Australia-wide audience in association with the committed team of publisher members, sponsoring associate members, industry groups and leading marketers. All members have a host of opportunities to showcase the value of their brands to the member base and wider magazine and online publishing industry.

Publishers Australia Excellence Awards

Every year Publishers Australia brings together publishers to celebrate quality and innovation in the publishing industry. The Excellence Awards recognise excellence across all facets of B2B, B2C, custom titles and digital publishing.

Industry members are invited to our annual awards luncheon held in Sydney and our winners will not only received a tangible reward for excellence, but valuable PR exposure from Publishers Australia, along with a free press kit of photos and a media release.

Insight Networking Nights (Tuesday Drinks Club)

Publishers Australia brings together its members on a regular basis through our free industry drinks nights for members and their guests. Networking nights are held on the first Tuesday of every month in Sydney. Members outside of Sydney are invited to monitor our events pages for networking events in your region.

Leadership Breakfasts

Leadership Breakfasts are a new opportunity for members and clients to gain in-depth understanding of the latest issues and technical developments affecting the publishing industry.

High profile speakers that have previously spoken at the events include Google and Westpac. Each breakfast is designed to provide attendees with powerful insights into the latest developments in the industry and reveal what our members are doing to tackle these issues.
